Oblivion talk:Isleif the Open Handed

Why did you change my edit? The info I provided was completely accurate. Aldage 15:58, 12 October 2007 (EDT)
- Nobody changed the information you added to the page. The "needs verification" tag was added because unfortunately, we can't trust every piece of information that gets added to the site. Anyway, I just checked the Construction Set and it says Isleif is in a cell called "ICWaterfrontJairsShack," which to me indicates that the house information you added was correct. Since I'm not incredibly familiar with the Oblivion CS, however, I'd rather wait for a real confirmation of this before removing the tag. --Eshetalk16:10, 12 October 2007 (EDT)
Sorry didn't mean to say "why did you change my edit?", I meant to say why did you add verification needed.--Aldage 16:20, 12 October 2007 (EDT)
- I checked the Construction Set. Isleif's initial starting position is Jair's Shack, and he also sleeps there (according to his AI schedule). This would be enough information to confirm that Isleif's house is Jair's Shack. --Timenn 18:02, 13 October 2007 (EDT)
- I added the tag because the edit came from an anonymous IP rather than an established user and it didn't look right (there aren't all that many NPCs that live at another NPC's house). I didn't have any way of checking at the time and the tag is a way of getting somebody (me, if I remember) to check that the information is okay. We can't just accept every edit as fact since we want the wiki to be as accurate as possible. In this case, two people checked out the information, found it accurate and removed the tag. That's the way it's supposed to work. It's never a comment on the author if their work is tagged in this manner. --Rpeh•T•C•E• 02:48, 14 October 2007 (EDT)
I added the edit. --Aldage 16:49, 16 October 2007 (EDT)
