You're absolutely right - it wasn't Jakben that stole the Cowl but he seems to have known the original Gray Fox that did the deed, according to his diary. Care to make the fix? —Rpeh^{•T•C•E•} 09:41, 7 January 2008 (EST)

I'm having a huge problem with this quest, I killed his butler and hasn't respawned and jakben never seems to come home. what should I do? or am i simply missing something?
