Should there be any mention that killing the Lich will not expose you to anything resembling its previous victims' fate? That is to say, by killing the Lich, you do not subtly alter/damage your character-- as you might expect from a creature that has already possessed the body of one hero who previously slew it.

Ummm, I haven't done this quest, but I think Varengil did some sort of rite or something that let the lich into his body.
