Adepts are not a playable class in Oblivion, instead, they are the class for Mythic Dawn agents. Many novice players (and me) might not know this. Perhaps more info on Adepts should be added, or perhaps, in complying with the spoiler standards, it should be removed, since Adepts are members of the Mythic Dawn. --Dylnuge(talk · edits) 17:13, 22 November 2006 (EST)

Once you have done the Dagon Shrine quest, Mythic Dawn agents will attack you on sight. If there are any guards in the vicinity, they will (usually) defend you. The same can happen with general NPCs. --Gaebrial 03:02, 14 September 2007 (EDT)
