I used a cheat to permanently increas my personality. It is 281 now, bandits and marauders dont attack me, but necromancers do, would it have anything to do with me being in the Mages guild? Will I need to make my personality higher? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.42.203.13 (talk • contribs).
- Yeah - Necromancers hate guild members. You'll need an even higher personality to stop them attacking. –Rpeh•T•C•E• 13:34, 3 February 2008 (EST)
Hey, so I was in a necromancer dungeon, galas something or other (I remember it was the only other galas than the one at the end of KoN x-pack) anyway, I fought the necromancer adept at the end and he had an empty black soul gem on his body which surprised me, especially since I was only using a level 6 character. Does this mean that necromancer adapts have a chance of having black soul gems on them or is it only this necromancer dungeon, considering the rarity of black soul gems its probably worth mentioning that they have a chance of dropping them. I can't confirm this because I'm on x-box but someone might want to look into that or try and replicate it. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.251.17.240 (talk • contribs).
- All necromancer adepts, in all dungeons, have a 10% chance of carrying a black soul gem, as long as your character is at least level 5. See Oblivion:Black Soul Gem#Notes. --NepheleTalk 22:23, 24 February 2008 (EST)
[edit] become 1???
hay, is there any way to become affiliated with necromancers, other than killing them, (ig. a member or worshiper) in oblivian? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Osiris (talk • contribs).
- No, but you or someone else could make a modd about it if you're a PC gamer. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk)/(Contribs) 21:55, 8 April 2008 (EDT)
ok, sounds kool, i have it for both x-box and comp, but my comp needs a better graphics card, so once i get 1 ill try it. is there any way to get back the necromancer amulet or that blood..w/e helm? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.171.221.213 (talk • contribs).
- No, you can't get back the Necromancer's Amulet or the Bloodworm Helm once you give them to Hannibal Traven. However, you or someone else could adjust the game with a modd in order to get them. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk)/(Contribs) 19:16, 9 April 2008 (EDT)
- Alternatively, you clould use a lot of fortify personality items and the bound items glitch to make them not attack you. But you won't be a part of the faction or have any dialog besides rumors but you can live with them. Puddle 20:03, 9 April 2008 (EDT)
it turns out someone is working on a mod so you can work for the necromancers, its not done yet, but he released a little sneak preview thing, it is supposed to have new locations, quest, and all that good stuff...so yea :) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Osiris (talk • contribs).
- The Unofficial Oblivion Patch puts the amulet and the helm in the Arch-Mage's nightstand once you finish the Mages Guild quests, so you could get them that way. Or, again, you could use the console. –Rpeh•T•C•E• 00:46, 10 April 2008 (EDT)
