i picked orrin's pocket, but he only has the castle key. and his strongbox says "orrins's chest" and that it needs a key. where can i find his key??? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.157.6.201 (talk • contribs).
- There is no key for Orrin's Chest. You can only get the items in the chest by buying them from Orrin. --NepheleTalk 11:47, 23 June 2007 (EDT)
other shop owners don't have perma-locked chests in their stores/homes. you could be right, but if you are then it makes very little sense. thanks for the quick reply. --User:boddah 1:13, 24 June 2007 (EDT)
- Actually, almost every merchant does have one or more permanently locked chests in their store. But in most cases, the merchant chests are hidden under the floor or in other areas that can only be accessed using the
tclconsole command. There are many reasons why those merchant chests exist. One reason is to make some items (especially extra-valuable items such as Unique Items) only available if you're willing to pay the merchant. And for fences, without permanently locked chests thieves would just immediately steal all their fenced items back and sell them to the fence infinite times. You can't obtain everything in the game through thievery alone. - Furthermore, there is definitely no key to unlock Orrin's Chest: the construction set shows what key will open each and every locked item in the game, and there is no key listed for Orrin's Chest. --NepheleTalk 01:52, 24 June 2007 (EDT)
Could someone post on when Orrin is in certain locations. I find it hard tracking him down everytime I need to sell something expensive.
Every time I go to sell something to him, he is always in his blacksmithing room. I usually come during the night when he is sleeping because I'm a vampire and it is kind of a killing two birds with one stone deal. But yeah, every time I go to see him day or night he is always there. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.46.26.219 (talk • contribs).
