Vampirism[edit]

Can you even contract Poryphic Hemophilia from Seridur?--Merco 16:25, 20 August 2007 (EDT)

Yes, he is a vampire and is infected with Porphyric Hemophilia. --NepheleTalk 16:41, 20 August 2007 (EDT)
Most definitely, one time when I fought Seridur, my character was infected with Porphyric Hemophilia. --Nikofeelan

Vampirisim, Pt. Deux[edit]

Seridur has normal Altmer eyes instead of the Daedric Vampiire eyes. Is that a bug or is he not a vampire? Can someone check the CS to see if he is mortal or Daedra (vampire)? --Dagoth Ur, Mad God 03:51, 27 April 2008 (EDT)

Check the reply above, why did you mention daedra by the way? --Volanaro 09:03, 27 April 2008 (EDT)

they should have given some indication he was one after all he looked normal — Unsigned comment by 195.93.21.103 (talk) on 6 August 2009

But that would have spoiled the surprise, wouldn't it? The plot is already quite obvious to the casual observer. --Timenn-<talk> 07:38, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

I notice that both of his servants have Vampire faces and Blood red eyes, despite being different races. Yet the storyboard preludes that they aren't Vampires; is it possible that a bug in Seridur's script to cause him to infect both of his servants? (Also, I notice after the questline that Roland does not ever give Vampire apearances.) 71.193.165.33 06:27, 21 March 2010 (UTC)Unpatched Glitchscrub

I more or less agree with Timenn. If Seridur had looked like a vampire since the beginning of the quest, it would have been rather stupid, especially when you consider that part of the quest storyline is that he "tricks" you into thinking that Roland is a vampire. I think the game developers made him look normal purposely. Although that still doesn't really explain why Seridur is able to mask his vampirism, while no other NPC vampire can. I think that maybe the few NPC vampires in socitey should be able to look more or less normal, at least in the early stages, so that they can meet the game's description of them as masters of "deception". Well, Seridur says himself about vampires that "They drink the blood of others to conceal their true nature. Such trickery makes them difficult to find." I guess, Seridur drinks A LOT, compared to count of Skingrad.--90.176.11.217 08:48, 6 March 2012 (UTC)
