Unfinished quest?[edit]

I suspect the devs originally planned to have the two doors Key Needed and opened by outer and inner keys (so one would need both to get in), but they decided it was too difficult.

This cave has a layout like a quest was planned for it. Perhaps there is a quest in one of the expansions (or will be). — Unsigned comment by 71.71.246.168 (talk) at 22:11 on 25 April 2007 (UTC)

We can only wish. In Brass Tomb, there's a peculiar brick structure protruding from the dirt, on the eastern side of the map. It looks to me like a fort tower or something. On the surface there's no fort in the vicinity. Very weird. Couldn't even find a door down there. Miasma 00:59, 28 August 2008 (EDT)

Glitch: Nothing inside[edit]

Has anyone else encountered a glitch where you enter the cave and nothing is there, you can only take the door back out? 75.187.62.233 01:35, 16 January 2009 (EST)

None of the tombstones activate for me[edit]

The "Exterior" section currently claims that

A broken tombstone west of the cave's entrance can be activated to display the message "[epitaph missing]". The center tombstone can also be activated, but as its associated script is not linked the object nothing will happen.

but I couldn't get any of the tombstones near the entrance to activate or display any message at all. I tried the two that are immediately west of the door (near the blue-flame cauldron), the four or five that are a bit further west of that, and the ones on the east side of the door. I waved my crosshair around various points of each tombstone, just in case only part of the tombstone was active, but nothing.

This doesn't really affect anything, but I figured I'd note it. I wonder if possibly this happened in an earlier version of the game, and was patched out in a later version. I am on PC, 1.2.0416 Game of the Year edition, installed from retail disc, no mods. 73.3.58.200 07:53, 28 June 2021 (UTC)
