Adding the quest rewards is a nice idea, but they are given based on a leveled list. I think there are ~100 possible rewards for just this quest. According to the Construction Set the quest reward for this quest is an enchanted blade. Stuckshut 21:52, 10 April 2006 (EDT)

It appears this quest is a prerequisite to "More Unfinished Business". I could not progress to "More Unfinished Business" until completing "The Masters Son".
