[edit] More to it?

So, I presume that someone has investigated the homes in Cheydinhal and also attempted to find the basement in question? I presume it does not exist?

If things such as this did exist in game, it would certainly give more motive to the player to read things. I liked the story, but was immediately interested in burglarizing every basement in Cheydinhal. I don't suppose that's going to bear fruit (pardon the pun), is it? –Alaston

I think it's a reference to the Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary. First, there's the well, then there are the "three large rooms", which fits with the number of areas in the sanctuary. Lastly, the phrase "...beautiful and appropriate bas-relief of a mother carving a roast for her grateful children..." seems to describe the sanctuary door. It makes you wonder exactly what the meat that Simocles Quo ate was... –RpehTCE 07:38, 24 February 2008 (EST)
Huh. Thank you very much. I'll keep my eyes out for other books and stories like this then, and seen how many are actually in the game. –Alaston
