[edit] Friendly Sheep

Recently I witnessed something weird. I talked about some of it on the Skingrad Sextius' page, but some of it didn't involve him.

Basically, as I went to the wayshrine a ways past the vineyards, Uuras' ram seemed to follow me. I assumed it was nothing, but then later I noticed several sheep following behind Sextius (who was on his horse) to the point where all the other sheep were with Uuras in that pen area behind the vineyards but they still walked behind Sextius.

As I walked back to Skingrad, I noticed one of the sheep following me. I hadn't used a command spell on it, but it would follow to the point that I ran a ways ahead, I would turn to see it running to catch up. I enjoyed my companion for a while, and it never veered off (save for one point where it seemed to walk off to look at a dead bandit, like a guard might do). When I entered the gates and exited a few minutes later, it was still there, and it still followed me. It never attacked, just stood next to me or ran to catch up.

Have I been missing fun activities with sheep for some time? xoxo Coryl

I believe that happens with the Sheep's AI. It allows for the sheep to follow anyone it likes, based on it's disposition, I'd guess. Then again, I don't have the Construction Set, as I play the 360, so I couldn't tell you exactly what causes it. DaedryonTCE 14:13, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
Uuras' sheep follow anybody who has an apple in their inventory. That's one possible reason. –RpehTCE 01:05, 20 August 2008 (EDT)
