[edit] Wilbur on Vacation

Y'know that glitch where Bleak Mine Guards show up when you go to jail? After I did the "Two Sides of the Coin" Bruma mission, I exited jail to find a motley crew of Fighters Guild guys (from the Desolate Mine), a Bleak Mine guard, and Wilbur! After teaming up with the others to kill the Dunmer, he walked back to Anvil. Anyone else experienced this? Coryl

  • I just left Bruma from the north gate, and saw Wilbur there. Now I hope he will survive his journey back to Anvil, but it's strange to see him here. After seeing this, I immediately had a look here, but as there's so little information, I think I'll have to dig a bit with the CS. 193.141.12.233 13:57, 6 August 2008 (EDT)
There's little information here because there's very little to say! Wilbur only has one AI package - the one called "aaaServicesEditorLocLockAtEndStandStill" which basically has him offering services all day, standing still at his location behind the bar. The only thing I can think of is that the package is a "Travel" type and it has zero duration rather than 24 hour but neither of those should matter. There must be something happening that's causing him to follow the player around. Had you perhaps rented a room? –RpehTCE 14:51, 6 August 2008 (EDT)

I had the same problem--I had finished the Desolate Mine mission, then proceeded to do the "Scheduled for Execution" mission for the Dark Brotherhood. As usual, I got arrested and, since I didn't want to give up the bonus, paid my fine. I step out of prison and there, right in front of me, are my fighter's guild buddies, as expected, and the strange guest I didn't expect: Wilbur. In the Imperial City. I had rented the room during the "Where Spirits Have Lease" quest, but hadn't actually stayed because Benirus showed up before I got to the bed. I was ready to level when he showed up, so I decided to finish my house and make use of my hard earned bed and completely forgot about my room in the Count's Arms. Does this happen with the other innkeepers?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.62.122.9 (talkcontribs) on 23 August 2009.
