New Knights of the Nine Points[edit]

What are the points earned for the new knights of the nine expansion...does anyone know? Irishguy42 22:30, 11 January 2007 (EST)

Sorry, but there aren't any achievement points from this plugin, or any of the other plugins that have been released so far. --Nephele 00:16, 12 January 2007 (EST)

Merge with 360 page[edit]

I believe this should be merged with the Xbox 360 page instead of being in the chests and secrets because these aren't really well cheats or secrets but rather "hints"--Most Honored Listener 17:43, 16 July 2007 (EDT)

In my opinion, Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Achievements each contain enough information to warrant being separate articles, and there is a clear difference in content between the two articles. So I don't see why the articles shoudl be merged. It seems like the primary issue here is where the achievements article is listed on the main Oblivion page. If that's the case, there are many options for how to fix that problem that are much less drastic than merging two substantial articles. For example: moving the link to a different area on the Oblivion page; renaming the title of the section where this article is listed; or, not having a link on the Oblivion page. --NepheleTalk 18:40, 21 July 2007 (EDT)
Yes would it work if the link was just right on the Xbox page and not on the front page?--Most Honored Listener 00:32, 23 July 2007 (EDT)

Requirements[edit]

Can't we write the guild achiements in a similar way to the main questline; the quest you need to complete? I know this is how it is on the Xbox but that is a VERY bad description of the achievements, that you get Slayer when you have reached Slayer rank a 3year old could figgure out! This is over a year old today but I would like to add to this statement. Is it possible that we can be allowed to change the requirement descriptions, at least giving a general idea of where in a quest you will unlock it. As mentioned in the below section some people may freak out if they don't unlock the Silencer achievement when Lucien first declares you one. It does not have to OVERLY detailed, but at least it can refer to the quest that needs to be completed along with which NPC will promote you (if it's a guild/Arena achievement). Inclusion of a possible Notes section?[edit]

While the Achievements are pretty straight forward, there are a few that may give people confusion. For example (and it's listed in the appropriate quest) during the Mages Guild, that the Arch-Mage achievement does not unlock immediately after speaking with Raminus. It takes roughly 10-12 seconds before it pops...though I should note another is the Silencer achievement. While Lucien DOES promote you (and this can be seen clearly if you check it in the rank screen), the achievement will not unlock until after you complete the required quest where he will refer to you as his Silencer again. Apparently I have heard where some players may not actually unlock the achievement and can continue playing, unlocking the remaining Dark Brotherhood achievements instead.

The notes section can range from anything, to those examples to what exactly requires for most of the achievements to unlock (such as speaking with a character about advancement and then the achievement unlocks after the dialogue has finished). Let me know what you guys think, as I'm working with the 360 version now myself (nearly have the complete 1250, just have to finish Shivering Isles and afterwards the main quest line). Becomming the Gray Fox[edit]

I noticed a 'verification needed' on when exactly you get the Gray Fox-achievement. It's at journal entry 140; you get the achievement, the cowl, the rank and 10 infamy points MrL 22:03, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

CS confirms this. I've removed the VN tag. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 23:57, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

Achievements missed[edit]

It is said that there are no achievements that can be missed in Oblivion but it is possible to be permanently expelled from Arena, Dark Brotherhood and Fighters Guild. So, it seems actually possible to miss some achievements if any expulsion happen soon enough in the rank progress... 217.108.57.35 08:01, 28 September 2011 (UTC)

your right, i removed it (Eddie The Head 08:04, 28 September 2011 (UTC))
