At Martyr's Crossing:

"These Imperial dogs are vicious but smart. They know they can't beat us in a direct confrontation, so they starve us out. I'd like to compliment their commander before killing him."

At the Bangkorai Garrison:

"Daedra take these Imperials. By St. Pelin's blood, I'll see that fort retaken!"

There are a lot of injured here.

"Yes. And more yet within the Garrison's walls. We tried to gather as many of the wounded as we could, but the hail of arrows was just...endless. We had to leave the wounded on the field until the attack was over."

Do you plan to mount a counterattack?

"So we must say. Defense of the Garrison is our chief responsibility and we must retake it.

But frankly, I don't see how. We haven't the supplies or the manpower. We just have to hope this rumor about Emeric has some truth behind it."

What rumor?

"A runner arrived bearing news that Emeric's Lion Guard is en route to reinforce us—perhaps led by the King himself.

We'll see if it's true soon enough, I suppose."

After Bangkorai Garrison has been retaken.

"Blessings of St. Pelin be upon you, friend. We couldn't have retaken the fort without you."
