Quest-Related Events[edit]

If you speak to her inside the cave entrance to Mistwatch before the quest, she says:

"The Ternion monks survived this long by avoiding conflict and remaining isolated.
This war that rages across Eastmarch, it must not come here. Our sacred temple has been sealed, closed to outsiders. You may not enter."

After speaking with Gakurek, you will find Jadvar in the cave. She will be skeptical of Stormy-Eyes' claim that he can save Jorunn. Nonetheless, she will ask you to provide the vampire blood you have collected so the safety of Jorunn and the Dreamwalker is guaranteed during the Dreamstride and in doing so, she will grant you access to Mistwatch where the king is undergoing the ritual by opening a portal:

"You come to support the slumbering king? When last I saw him, his skin was pale and his breathing shallow. His life force slowly drains away.
It would take a miracle, or a favor from the Three Old Gods, to save him now."
I can save King Jorunn.
"When he isn't asking inane questions, the Dreamwalker makes the same claim. So many questions! He actually believes we turn into bugs and fly!
With your king's life hanging in the balance, I hope you haven't put your trust in the wrong place."
I trust him. He saved the lives of many of his people.
"As you say. Before your friend can enter the eternal slumber, we need to enhance the king's life force. Bring him back from the brink of death long enough for the Dreamwalker to slip inside.
Otherwise, the journey will kill them both."
I collected the blood of a vampire.
"Horrible creatures, but their blood has its uses.
I'll open the gate to our ritual grounds. Please don't disturb the monks who pray there. Your king sleeps on the center platform, where our High Priest administers to him."

Speaking with her again:

"Go to your king. And take the Dreamwalker with you, please."

Speaking to her again before you speak to the high priest:

"I wish you luck and I hope you can save your king. May the Three Old Gods guide you."

After the quest if you return to her before saving Jorunn:

"Why have you returned from the ritual grounds so soon? Has the Skald-King succumbed to the Daedric poison? If not, you should get back up there and stand vigil for your king."

After completing Gods Save the King, she'll say:

"The Ternion Monks have helped you and the Skald-King. Maybe now people will understand that we are not the monsters they thought us to be."
