Kyleus Herminia

Kyleus Herminia is an Imperial legionnaire found at the Improvised Garrison in the Nobles District of the Imperial City. She is part of the Immortal Eight, a group of Imperial soldiers who remain loyal to the Empire and have been granted a form of immortality by an Ancient Scroll. She represents Kynareth among the Eight Divines.

Dialogue[edit]

She will be annoyed at being interrupted while writing.

"Is there some reason you're staring at me?"
What are you writing?/So, what are you writing about?
"A scroll to drown these wretched Daedra. Prayers to the Eight who never answer. My memories. My eulogy. Why do you care?"
I'm trying to understand how the city fell to Molag Bal.
"Through treachery, hubris, and an empress too enamored of Mannimarco's charms to recognize the knives he was driving into everyone else's backs. We were all fools.
My only comfort now, is hearing Daedra scream as I electrify them. I can enjoy that."
What about taking the city back from Molag Bal?
"Impossible without reinforcements, and I don't see any lining up. Do you? The great alliances have left us to die while they bumble about playing war. Pathetic.
So far as I'm concerned, Molag Bal can take the lot of them—and he will. Soon enough"

She'll show up on the scaffolding above the northern door (on the left) while you're defending it, after the second wave of enemies goes down. She flings spells at the Daedra.

Dulcilla Iullus: "Oooh! That'll leave a mark!"
Kyleus Herminia: "Fools! Now you face the storm!"
Captain Caudex: "We've reinforced the door! Keep it up!"
Dulcilla Iullus: "Heads up, sweetie."

After the third wave of enemies goes down, she says:

Kyleus Herminia: "Kynareth take you!"

After learning that she's immortal, you can ask her more questions.

"So you've discovered the truth. Good for you."
You sound like you resent what's happened to you.
"What do you want me to say? That it's wonderful to live forever? All daisies and sweet cream? I suppose I could say that to make you feel better, but why should I? It's a lie.
I hate being stuck here. I hate this life."
So you'd prefer to die?
"If the alternative is to remain trapped in this city, watching my friends die over and over … yes, I'd prefer a real death. Alas, duty calls.
I'm going to take as many Daedra with me as I can. As much as I hate this curse, I hate them even more."
