Awakening[edit]

Disturb the roots and the matron will appear:

Matron Irwiraen : "Are you here as a friend, or an enemy?"

Once you're inside the treehenge, all the matrons are there. If you choose to speak to her first, she'll say:

"No time for pilgrims! We must attend to the departed Green Lady."
Finoriell says something prevents her from rooting here.
"She is correct. The Worm Cult interferes with the natural state of Treehenge.
If we could retrieve the holy seed, there'd be no trouble. Then, nothing could stop us!"
Or I could stop the Worm Cult.
"That would be ideal, mortal. They threaten the stories of a hundred lifetimes."

Speak to her before leaving and she'll only say:

"Listen to the hengekeeper. Finoriell depends on her."

After the quest:

"Passion musn't compete with duty."

The Dark Night of the Soul[edit]

After speaking to Hengekeeper Lara:

"Why must the Worm Cult meddle in Bosmer affairs?"

After Hengekeeper Lara decides to sacrifice herself to save Finoriell and begins the ritual, Irwiraen remarks:

Matron Irwiraen : "The seed takes root!"

After the sacrifice is complete and Finoriell's ghost appears, if you try to speak to her before Finoriell, she'll chastise you:

"Why are you talking to me now? Finoriell's safe! Talk to her!"

After the completion of the quest:

"You have done the whole of Valenwood a great service."
