Omen of Fear

The Omen of Fear is a Watcher who is plaguing the mind of Sir Hughes.

The Omen is giving Sir Hughes nightmares of betrayal by the Redguards and causing his mistrust. The only way to end the nightmares is to enter Sir Hughes' dreams and destroy it.

Dialogue

During Sir Hughes' nightmare:

Omen of Fear: "The Daggerfall Covenant is doomed to fail. You cannot trust the Redguards."

Sir Hughes: "The Daggerfall Covenant was a mistake. We can't trust the Redguards!"

Omen: "You can't afford to let your guard down. The Redguards could betray you at any time."

Hughes: "We must remain vigilant. The Redguards could be plotting against us."

The scene will fade away after this. You will later see another vision near the fountain at the front of the Keep:

Omen of Fear: "The Duke should have not married King Fahara'jad's daughter."

Sir Hughes: "The Duke's marriage was a mistake. He's put us all at risk."

Omen of Fear: "King Fahara'jad plans to invade Alcaire. Duchess Lakana is a spy."

Sir Hughes: "Lakana has everyone fooled. She and her father are plotting against us!"

Omen of Fear: "Duchess Lakana is orchestrating an attack on Alcaire. She must be stopped."

Sir Hughes: "The duchess has betrayed us. I have to stop her...whatever it takes..."

When engaging in battle with the Omen:

Omen of Fear: "I can see your fear!"
