Pimsy

Pimsy is an Argonian slave located in the family quarters of the Velmont Estate in Abah's Landing. He belongs to Anais Velmont, serving as the replacement for Walks-Softly after he left the estate.

During Shell Game, he will be in the same room as the Moulted-Scale Amulet and you have the option of speaking to him and asking him some questions.

Walks-Softly: "My amulet's in there. Would you mind getting it? There's a young Argonian in there. He … unsettles me."

Pimsy: "Oh no. My Lady will be furious when she sees these spots."

While in the room, you have the opportunity to talk to Pimsy. If spoken to, he will be more concerned with the carpet than strangers in the house.

"You're ruining the carpet! Lady Anais will make me scrub it all over again when she sees those boot prints!"

Are you one of the Velmont's servants?

"Servant? Oh no. Not at all. I'm Lady Anais's best friend! We do everything together! And when she's busy dealing with the mansion or the family business, I do everything I can to make sure she's happy.
That's what friends are for, right?"

You're scrubbing the floor out of friendship?

"Every day! Scrubbing the floors, wiping down the tiles. Sometimes I even wash the ceilings! All to make Lady Anais happy!
Speaking of which, I should prepare her bath. Scalding but not too hot, otherwise she might punish me—just as a reminder."

She punished you?

"A good friend has to help teach me my lessons. That's what Lady Anais always says. How else will I learn?
Besides, if I do things the wrong way, I'll disappoint my very best friend in the whole world, and I don't want that to happen."

How can you put up with that kind of treatment?

"What do you mean? I've been by my lady's side since I hatched from my egg and she's always treated me with nothing but love and affection. She provides food, shelter, and friendship. What else do I need?
Now please go. I need to clean these floors."

If you try talking with him after upsetting him with questions, he will insist that you leave.

"I don't want to talk to you any more!
Now get off the floor, please. I really need to deal with those spots before my lady returns."

However if you speak to him after taking the amulet, he will mention:

"My lady made an amulet like that from one of my scales, too."

Everyone Has A Price

Pimsy in the Thieves Den

After helping Walks-Softly make a decision about Anais, Pimsy can be found in the Thieves Den. Walks-Softly freed him through the use of forged documents.

You can speak to Pimsy one last time, as he disappears from the Thieves Den after turning in the quest.

"Walks-Softly says I can be whatever I want to be, but all I want to do is go home."

"Maybe I will get used to it here. Walks-Softly says I will make new friends, better friends.
But I do miss Lady Anais."

Bugs

• Appears in the Thieves Den after making a decision at end of Everyone Has A Price, however he disappears from the Den as soon as the quest is completed.
