Fain is a small ruin located slightly north of New Sheoth containing Heretics. [edit] It contains only one zone, Fain.

The subterranean level appears to be an arena. It is populated by heretics. In the center is a raised platform, with a nearby button. Pushing the button opens the platform, dropping anyone on it into a water-filled pit beneath.

A scroll near the button to open the pit mentions a deity called "Gyub" apparently worshiped by the heretics here. It seems that Gyub dwells in the pit. Although no sign of the creature can be found here, the scroll refers to human sacrifices being made to it, and the remains of a sacrificed heretic can be found in the pit.

• This ruin contains 61 Flame Stalk plants, 5 Screaming Maw plants, and 10 Root Stalk plants.
