The House of Mania is the northern wing of the Palace of Sheogorath, and the seat of the Duke of Mania, Thadon.

The wing consists of three different areas:

• The House of Mania proper, which contains the Ducal throne and the Duke's feast table
• The Halcyon Conservatory, which is an outdoor garden with flora and a reading area
• The Duke's Quarters, which is the private residence and kitchen of the Duke of Mania

The Halcyon Conservatory is open to the public.

The Duke's Quarters are locked (possibly leveled), and it is considered trespassing to enter unless you have supplanted the Duke.

• Two skill books can be found on bookshelves in the Duke's Quarters: The Black Arrow, v 1 (Acrobatics) and Sacred Witness (Sneak).
• The Ducal Quarters can be used as a house once the Ritual of Mania is complete. There is no way to obtain these quarters if the player chooses to perform the Ritual of Dementia.

• The two barrels and the wooden chest respawn and are not safe for storage; all the other containers are safe.
