Shivering:The Fork of Horripilation (item)
The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
The Fork of Horripilation is a one-handed blade (equivalent to a dagger) found on a table in Longtooth Camp. When wielded it stunts the user's magicka.
The name comes from horripilation, which means to have goose bumps.
| Name | Speed | Reach | Enchantment * | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

[edit] Notes
- The fork's stunted magicka enchantment is actually implemented using a script effect, instead of a true enchantment. One implication is that after the quest is complete, you can add a custom enchantment to the fork. The enchanted fork will no longer have any stunted magicka side effects.
- The fork was encountered previously in Morrowind, where it was a quest item in Sheogorath's Quest.
