[edit] Race?

The article says he's a Breton, yet the table lists him as an Imperial. Could someone with the CS check and fix the article? --Dws90 17:55, 6 April 2007 (EDT)

Reply: He's a Imperial his skin is not pale enough. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.111.189.251 (talkcontribs).

Actually he might be a Breton because I hit the Court Healer and he went "By the gods there's a psychopath on the loose!" in a standard Breton voice. It couldn't of been anyone else because he was the only male other than me in the room. He also once said to me "Is everything alright? You look a bit ill." in a Breton voice. In reality he's probably not meant to be either, rather some sort of Daedra, maybe. Mind you, he doesn't look like one. 217.43.100.47 00:18, 9 May 2007 (EDT)
I've checked the Construction Set. He is, in fact, a Breton. Skin tone is never an indication of race, especially given how close Imperials and Bretons are. It's perfectly possible to make a purple-skinned Orc or a midnight-blue-skinned High Elf. --Deathbane27 00:43, 9 May 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Haskill's suit

Is it possible to obtain it? ( Without cheats or the editor) There is an image of a character wearing it, but as Haskill is always an essential character, I'm wondering how that image exists... --Merco 07:36, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

Nope! The outfit is called "Haskill's Suit" and it's ID is 00074E85. The only occurances are found on his person and inside a testing cell. Without using the console or a custom mod, there is no way to get one. In fact, it doesn't even have an inventory icon or a world model. --Saruuk 07:53, 15 August 2007 (EDT)

[edit] Picture of Haskil

Is Haskil meant to have a really small head and a normal body or is it just me?????—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tabloes (talkcontribs).

Probably, he is supposed to be strange, as he is the first thing you see in the Isles.-Puddle 20:00, 9 May 2008 (EDT)
From what I can tell from the CS, he uses the same body as other Bretons in the game. It's probably just an optical illusion caused by the size and shape of the collar and shoulders of his suit. --Saruuk 20:29, 9 May 2008 (EDT)
Yeah, it looks like Klaus Nomis signature suit:

I wonder if that's where Bethesda got their inspiration from. -- J5689 18:24, 28 July 2008 (EDT)

[edit] Lucidity

(moved to the article)
  • Haskill's apparent lucidity might hint that he's been serving Sheogorath for a long time, perhaps even before he WAS Sheogorath, back when he was Jyggalag, the Daedric Prince of order.
Not a shred of evidence for this so it shouldn't be on the page. Given that Haskill seems as surprised as anybody else when events unfold I don't think it's true. –RpehTCE 05:08, 22 November 2008 (EST)

[edit] Ravate

Could Haskill be Ravate? I think it's quite a good explanation how he came to Islands and why he's serving Sheogorath, despite way in which Sheo is treating him. Maybe he's not so sane as it appears? 77.223.200.1 12:03, 4 March 2009 (EST)

Or Ravate could be Earil. Or the fellow who split Split. Speculation is a two-edged sword, spinning through the air in directions no one can surely predict. Haskill is the only completely lucid inhabitant of the Shivering Isles. Which, by that ironic grace, makes him the most unusual person there. Nevertheless, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and a character like Haskil sometimes is simply neccessary to serve as a foil and a grounding point for the telling of this story. —Dark Spark 15:56, 7 March 2009 (EST)

[edit] Reflect Damage

If you murder someone right in front of Haskill, then he will attack you with a leveled shortsword. I've done several tests with him, and with 101% Reflect Damage, he will eventually knock himself unconscious. (Theoretically, Reflect Spell could kill him; however, since Haskill never casts spells, the point is moot.) 68.32.250.200 22:23, 20 June 2009 (EDT)

[edit] Slave?

Is Haskill a slave to Sheogorath? I mean, he's smart enough to know if he decided to leave Sheogorath would probably turn him into a cheesewheel or something...--Arch-Mage Matt 16:01, 17 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Fixing Vampire dialogue bug with Haskill

The generic Vampire dialogs ("You won't get any of my blood" etc.) should not apply to Haskill, because Charm does not work on him, because he is set to Ghost state in his script. You either need to mod his disposition with the player through the script in CS or the console or change the vampire generic greetings to specifically exclude Haskill (ID =! SEHaskill). Otherwise it isn't possible to ask him about Sheogorath's quests, cause he just says "Stay away from me" and then the dialogue is over. WRFan 11:22, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
