The Black-Briar Meadery

Black-Briar Meadery is a bar and brewery run in Riften. The meadery is owned by Maven Black-Briar, who employs several people that actually run the business. Ungrien is the barkeeper, and therefore welcomes most visitors to the meadery. However, Indaryn is the boss, in charge of brewing the mead. Romlyn Dreth, Niluva Hlaalu, and Asgeir Snow-Shod are the remaining employees, and can be found doing various non-descript jobs around the meadery.

Displayed Merchandise

The following items are sitting out in the store, for example on the store counters. They can be purchased from the merchant, or else can be stolen. Other items may also be present in the store, but those other items are not available for purchase. They respawn after ten days.

Potions: 1 Philter of Pickpocketing, 1 Potion of Pickpocketing Food: 3 Black-Briar Mead, 1 Black-Briar Reserve

This is the merchandise found in the meadery's merchant chest. These items are only available if purchased from the merchant; they cannot be pickpocketed or stolen. They are restocked every two days.

Notes

• There is a "Protected" shadowmark by the entrance. Maven Black-Briar has strong ties with the Thieves Guild.
• Completing Under the Table for Wilhelm makes low-level items freely available, including barrels of bottles of Black-Briar mead.
