Alchemist's Shack

Alchemist's Shack is a small wooden shack located between Haemar's Shame and Ivarstead.

The shack is southeast of Riverwood, on the opposite side of the mountain near Riverwood.

Though the shack has no occupants, it appears that an alchemist did indeed call it home for a time. Inside the shack you will find a bed that is not owned, as well as some food. Outside the shack there is an Alchemy Lab where you can create your potions, as well as ingredients that you can pick. Next to the bed on the nightstand you will find the Alchemist's Journal explaining what he has been doing while living in the cabin.

The easiest way to get to this location is to travel to Ivarstead, then leave on the road that begins with the bridge until you reach the direction signs. Then you take the road that leads to Helgen, or when you reach the direction signs go right. Follow this path until you see the shack on the right.

Notes

• There is a Butterfly in a Jar inside the shack on a shelf.
• There is a bird's nest with a rock warbler egg in the crotch of the fallen tree trunk to the west of the door.
