Daedra are creatures from the planes of Oblivion; NPC Dremora are detailed on a separate article. The only varieties of Daedra that appear in Skyrim are Atronachs, although both standard and summoned varieties of Atronachs exist.
For historical information, see the lore article.
The following table lists only standard Atronachs, i.e., those that are generated from the standard leveled list LCharAtronach.

 Flame Atronach
Flame Atronachs appear as female humanoids made of flame, wearing elaborate black metal armor. They are the weakest type of Atronach encountered in Skyrim. They are extremely agile and reasonably proficient in close combat, though they prefer to use flame-based magic from afar unless an enemy chooses to close in on them. The player will also take fire damage when close to them.

 Frost Atronach
Frost Atronachs are elemental Daedra which resemble over-sized humanoids made of ice. They have long melee reach and their attack applies frozen effects on their targets (reduced movement), and usually staggers targets as well. They can be summoned by the player, and are occasionally used against the player by enemy summoners.

 Storm Atronach
Storm Atronachs are daedra of elemental shock. They appear as a cluster of rocks quickly revolving around an unseen, electrified center of mass. Storm atronachs can be encountered as a hostile enemy, usually summoned by an enemy caster, or the player can summon them to aid in combat.
