Autumnshade Clearing

Autumnshade Clearing is a circular glade inhabited by a spriggan and its attending animals, located north of Goldenglow Estate and southwest of Shor's Stone.

A shallow cave at the west end of the clearing hold the bodies of two hunters, one of which contains a copy of the Archery skill book Father Of The Niben.

Riften guards will sometimes refer to "trouble" at the clearing, speculate that it's due to spriggans, and add the location to your map.

Notes

• The Restoration skill book Racial Phylogeny can be found to the north of the clearing in a small unmarked location composed of an altar and stone structures surrounding it. The book is located on the altar. The alter also has a cage build into one of the stone structures that contains some Dwemer metal, plus there's some laying on the ground as well.
• The Archery skill book The Gold Ribbon of Merit can be found in a hunter's tent southeast of the clearing.
• The area around the clearing is a good place for iron mining, with veins to the north, east-northeast, east-southeast, south, and west-northwest.
• A total of 18 canis root plants can be found in the area.
