Bloodstained rocks surround the entrance to the cave

Brood Cavern is a small natural cavern located high in the mountains southwest of Morthal.

This small cavern contains fearsome opponents, including cave bears and trolls. Near the entrance, the corpse of a hunter lies near a chest, while another locked (with a novice-level lock) chest can be found in one of the short side tunnels off the main cavern, behind the waterfall on the right wall.

A corundum ore vein can be found just to the left of the waterfall in the rear of the room. There's also an iron ore vein to the left of the cavern entrance.
