The following alchemy ingredients can be used to create a potion of Fortify Alteration:

• Burnt Spriggan Wood^DB
• Grass Pod
• River Betty
• Spriggan Sap

Enchanting

The following items use this effect. You can learn how to enchant custom items with Fortify Alteration if you find one of the following items and disenchant it:

• All varieties of Armor, Bracers, and Helmets of Alteration
  • Includes the enchantments of Minor Alteration, of Major Alteration, of Extreme Alteration, of Eminent Alteration, and of Peerless Alteration.
• All varieties of Robes of Alteration

Artifacts and unique items that use the effect but cannot be disenchanted include:

• Archmage's Robes
• Diadem of the Savant
• Vokun

Bugs

• There are two versions of the Dwarven Helmet of Eminent Alteration. The version with the ID number 0008b663 fortifies your Alchemy skill, not your Alteration skill. It has a lower base value of 659 gold compared to the "correct" version, which has a value of 767 gold.
  • This bug is fixed by version 1.0 of the Unofficial Skyrim Patch.
