This page lists all new NPCs added by Hearthfire.

Bards

Bards may be hired through your steward.

• Llewellyn the Nightingale — A bard who can be hired to stay in Lakeview Manor.
• Oriella — A bard who can be hired to stay in Heljarchen Hall.
• Sonir — A bard who can be hired to stay in Windstad Manor.

Carriage Drivers

Carriage drivers may be hired through your steward.

• Engar — A carriage driver who can be hired at Windstad Manor.
• Gunjar — A carriage driver who can be hired at Lakeview Manor.
• Markus — A carriage driver who can be hired at Heljarchen Hall.

Children

All of these children are homeless orphans who may be adopted.

• Alesan — A Redguard boy who works as a food runner for the miners in Dawnstar.
• Blaise — A Breton boy who helps around the stables at Katla's Farm near Solitude.
• Lucia — An Imperial girl who begs for gold in the streets of Whiterun.
• Sofie — A Nord girl wandering around the streets of Windhelm selling flowers.

Housecarls

All new housecarls are appointed after you become thane of the appropriate hold. They can become followers and stewards, and may also be married.

• Gregor — A male Nord assigned at Heljarchen Hall in the Pale.
• Rayya — A female Redguard assigned at Lakeview Manor in Falkreath Hold.
• Valdimar — A male Nord assigned at Windstad Manor in Hjaalmarch.

Other

• Rochelle the Red — A female Redguard who may kidnap your spouse.

Notes

• Children in Honorhall Orphanage may now be adopted by speaking with Constance Michel after killing Grelod the Kind during Innocence Lost.
