Ironback Hideout is a dilapidated house to the northwest of Solitude, inhabited by two bandits and a bandit chief.
It is perhaps most important for its very close proximity to The Steed Stone (one of the 13 Standing Stones located throughout Skyrim). Ironback Hideout is located just to the east of The Steed Stone, although an extensive sheer rock formation separates the two, making the trip between the two locations rather difficult to maneuver.
Once the bandits have been dealt with, you can find a copy of the Pickpocket skill book Beggar on the table, as well as a chest with a novice-level lock underneath. There is also a tanning rack to the left, and a wood chopping block as well.
[edit] Notes
- Two corundum ore veins are outside the shack. One is just east of the building, while the other can be found at the base of the cliff.
[edit] Bugs
- May only become labeled as "cleared" after leaving the area. ?
