Journeyman's Nook

Journeyman's Nook is a small and ancient Nordic shelter southeast of Winterhold.

When you first arrive, a leveled bandit will be residing there along with a slain college apprentice named Borvir. Amenities include an alchemy lab, a bed roll and two usable barrels. Borvir's dagger can be found laying on the floor and Treasure Map II is in a knapsack. A copy of the Alchemy skill book Herbalist's Guide to Skyrim can be found here as well.

[edit] Notes

  • A small abandoned camp can be found northwest of Journeyman's Nook that contains two tents. One of the tents is occupied by a dead skeleton, while the other contains an adept-locked strongbox (map).
  • A steep, narrow trail north-northeast of Journeyman's Nook leads down to the sea. At the base of the trail, two horkers sit in front of a small alcove in the cliff wall, which contains a novice-locked chest and a copy of the Restoration skill book 2920, Rain's Hand, v4 (map). There is also a silver ore vein nearby.

[edit] Bugs

  • Borvir's dagger might clip beneath the floor making it unreachable without the console.
