The entrance to Silent City Catacombs

The Silent City Catacombs is a small Dwarven ruin inside Blackreach containing Falmer.

The direct entrance to the catacombs is on the river in the center of the cavern, just east of Blackreach's city. The catacombs also connect to the Pumping Station through a door at the west end.

Starting from the river entrance, there is an unlocked chest in the entry area and a geode vein on the left wall. In the flooded hallway with bent floor grates there is an underwater area with three unlocked chests. In the large upper room a Falmer is carrying a Shaman's key, and there is a geode vein on the ground. Through the door, one of the three Falmer also has a Shaman's key. The last room leads to the Pumping Station.

Notes

• Two spider egg sacs and two clusters of glowing mushrooms can be found here.
• Shortly after entering via the Blackreach river entrance (the one that looks like a sewer entrance), there is a door with a lever behind it. Its only use is to move a set of large metal struts from one side of the hallway to the other. Presumably you can lure your enemies here and kill them with this.
