The Lord Stone is one of the thirteen Standing Stones scattered across Skyrim.
The Lord Stone can be reached by following the path that leads to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon; stand on the front steps of the Hall of the Vigilant, turn due West and go about 50 feet to the top of the rocks and you'll see the path going up the mountain in front of you and to the left. This is the path to the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon and it is clearly indicated by piled stone markers (some with long cloth pieces flapping in the wind). You'll pass Dimhollow Crypt along the path, and once you reach a sharp right turn up stone steps cut into the mountain, stop and turn to face Northeast. You'll see the Lord Stone a short distance up a hill.
The Lord Stone is home to a small group of bandits with bed-rolls and minor loot, and there is a corundum vein at the southwest corner of the base of the structure upon which the stone is set.
Activating The Lord Stone will add 50 points to your armor rating and 25% Magic Resistance. This makes it desirable for endgame characters playing on Master difficulty, as it lowers the difficult-to-reach armor rating and magic resistance caps (567 and 85%, respectively; 517 and 60% with the Lord Stone activated).
