Torbjorn Shatter-Shield

Torbjorn Shatter-Shield is a Nord warrior living in Windhelm with his family, the Shatter-Shield clan. He is a frequent patron to Candlehearth Hall.

Upon meeting Torbjorn the first time, he explains that he and his wife, Tova Shatter-Shield, are in mourning for the loss of their daughter and has been drinking heavily to cope. He asks the player to bring an amulet of Arkay to help ease his wife's mourning. The player can also choose to give him ale or mead upon asking.

If his wife and his other daughter, Nilsine Shatter-Shield, die, he can be seen in heavy mourning, remarking, "Both my daughters. Now my wife? How much is one man supposed to take?"
