female prince?[edit]

xbox loading screen ~ "azura is the prince of dusk and dawn blah blah he is not inheirently evil" while portraying the female azura statue.

another oversight? — Unsigned comment by RaW (talkcontribs) at 14:33 on 18 December 2011

Daedric Princes are all male, ones like Azura are just usually refered to as female. (Eddie The Head 14:36, 18 December 2011 (UTC))
Really, they're genderless as far as we know. We see whatever they choose to manifest themselves as (Hermaeus Mora doesn't manifest as a humanoid at all) and assign them a gender based on that. Collectively, they are referred to as Princes mainly because there's no gender-neutral term for it and Princess just isn't as intimidating. -- Hargrimm | Θ 20:58, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Azura Image[edit]

This page needs an image of Azura's Shrine that isn't concept art... I'd do it myself, but I work off the Xbox. —SkoomaManiac 23:33, 14 March 2012 (UTC)

I just added a 'NeedsImage' tag to the page. Hopefully a PC user who likes taking pictures will see the tag and add one soon. ABCface 02:28, 9 April 2012 (UTC)
Erm, we had one for 6 months now. -- kertaw48 16:30, 19 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing that out. The concept art image has now been replaced. ABCface 22:54, 19 April 2012 (UTC)

Moving Infobox[edit]

I propose to move the infobox on this article to Unused NPCs. The NPC in the article can't be seen without the use of console commands, all the characteristics shown are not relevant to the Daedra Lord Azura. The only thing encountered in the game is the voice of the NPC, it's a mere technicality that this voice is tacked to an actual NPC. --Alfwyn (talk) 14:11, 10 November 2012 (GMT)

Yeap, technically you're right. And just a heads up, I'm about to take images for Skyrim:Clavicus Vile and Skyrim:Malacath as well. So per your proposal, these should be moved to the unused NPCs too. ~ Psylocke 14:18, 10 November 2012 (GMT)
This page isn't justified to exist. I'd propose it for deletion because it already exists here. Azura never appears in the game, and is only heard ~ Dwarfmp (talk) 20:53, 28 January 2013 (GMT)
Well, there is a game feature called "Azura" you can speak to. We have a page Wretched Abyss too. While I don't think that this should be an NPC page, we should either keep it or merge it into the place page. --Alfwyn (talk) 13:34, 19 February 2013 (GMT)
Some discussion on irc resulted in, that there is a difference to the Wretched Abyss, in that this Azura has no visible manifestation. It is just the region around the altar below the statue that can be activated to talk to Azura. Should we just merge any content into the quest and place page and get rid of this page? Most links to that page would link to Lore:Azura then. Note that Skyrim:Clavicus Vile and Skyrim:Molag Bal are similar cases. -Alfwyn (talk) 15:15, 20 February 2013 (GMT)
