...and the frostbite spiders?

In the description of the creatures inhabiting Blackreach there is no information about frostbite spiders. However, there are some of them near and in Reeking Tower. The ones outside are normal frostbite spiders, instead there are white ("snow") frostbite spiders inside. Blackreach areas missing.

I went around Blackreach on one of my something-th gameplays. I have experienced this before but reloading to a previous save before entering BR fixed it before but idk why it happens. And that is that areas of Blackreach end up missing. Not just textures but ground, stones, architecture are straight up gone. big empty holes in the ground or areas where I see things floating in the air as if ground is supposed to be there, but isn't. I know its not a mod issue as I have experienced this without mods too, nor is it an FPS issue as I have throttled the FPS to max 60 for Skyrim. I don't know why it happens, but I've had it happen to me too on rare occasions. Mine's not as consistent to one area as yours is, but it does tend to happen in really large/complex areas, which Blackreach certain qualifies for. My suspicion would be something to do with graphics memory, but that's an educated guess at best. Are you running any high-texture mods or anything similar? This probably goes without saying, but if there's anything specific to Blackreach, start there and just disable mods progressively to see if you can fix it.

That said, sometimes the problem/fix can be hard to figure out. A lot of people on mobile processors have difficulty in the Soul Cairn, for example, and it turned out to be the upgraded grass in SE that was causing it. If you can't find a mod that's doing it, try temporarily reducing all your graphics settings and see if the problem still occurs. – Robin Hood ^(talk) 18:10, 22 September 2022 (UTC)
