Possible Easter Egg?[edit]

I can't find any reference to this location in the Easter Egg archives. Does anybody know if the large boulder with the 3 skeletons under it has been discussed as a possible Easter Egg? One of the skeletons has a lit lantern next to to, and is "wearing" an enchanted helm. Another skeleton is "wearing" a ring on its finger. Could the boulder have been dropped on the three victims by the giant from the camp? It seems way too detailed to be merely decoration. --Xyzzy 04:06, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

Shouldn't you ask this on the Easter Eggs page? Kitkat TalkContribE-mail 07:51, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
I thought about that, but the Easter Egg page is huge and hard to sort through. It gets archived often enough that my question would probably end up being buried before it got answered. Also, Im not proposing an Easter Egg, I'm asking a question specific to this location. --Xyzzy 13:38, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
I wouldn't call it an Easter Egg unless that is a specific reference to something outside of the game's lore. As it is, you are probably correct that the giant dropped the boulder on those three. NFITC1 13:55, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
I don't know if it's an egg, an inside joke, a reference to some event in this game or an earlier one, or nothing but decoration. It just seems like the devs laid this location out very specifically. I'm hoping somebody will see it and immediately think "Wow, this is an obvious reference to such-and-such", and add it here. --Xyzzy 14:07, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

() It wouldn't be considered an easter egg (unless there's a reference I'm not aware of), but I do agree that it seems too coincidental to just be decoration. The article currently states that the skeletons appear to be crushed by a rock that "fell from the sky" but I agree with Xyzzy that "dropped by a giant" makes more sense. I'll go ahead and change it for now, and anyone can come around to revert later if they strongly disagree. ABCface 04:28, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
