Fortify health x300[edit]

I strongly disagree with the suggestion that the 300 second fortify health effect is a mistake. I'm making the edit to take out unverified conjecture in the parenthesis. "Any Fortify Health potion made using a giant's toe lasts for 300 seconds instead of 60 (probably because the stats for the subsequent Fortify Carry Weight effect were mistakenly copied to the Fortify Health slot)." — Unsigned comment by Abacus707 (talkcontribs) at 02:24 on 23 December 2012‎

The sample in the Reach[edit]

The given description of two samples of Giant's Toe being available at "the camp just south of Sundered Towers" seems confusing. Would it not be better to describe it as being east of Karthspire Camp? It seems much easier to access this area from Karthspire Camp than from the Sundered Towers. Personal preference? Yes it would. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 00:01, 27 May 2014 (GMT)

Most Expensive Potion[edit]

As far as I can tell from some testing, the most expensive potion in the base game is Wheat + Giant's Toe + {Any Fortify Carry Weight Item}, which is a little bit more expensive than the combination that was given. Well, strictly, potions made with the Jarrin Root are more expensive, but honestly that is useless trivia since you can only get one sample of Jarrin Root without cheating. I have changed the "most expensive potion" comment to reflect this. Locket Rauncher (talk) 05:13, 26 October 2016 (UTC)

After extensive testing, the example given has the highest profit when subtracting the base price of the ingredients, see Useful_Potions#Expensive_Potions. I think it would be useful to add the actual value to the tables, as you can gather the items for no cost in the wild. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 11:54, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
Ah, okay the issue there was the use of "valuable" versus "profitable" for net value. It seems to me like there's way too much information to detail in passing without some sort of misunderstanding on the part of the reader, and the flow of the article seems to be getting awkward. Now that a more detailed page has been given, it seems more appropriate to just give a passing reference and link to the proper location, so I have condensed things a bit. This also cleanly mimics the "level up Alchemy" reference already given, which makes more sense for the structure of the article. I tried to be careful with the edit, but in the end I kind of ran out of time, so feel free to do some further rewording or just revert it.Locket Rauncher (talk) 20:46, 5 November 2016 (UTC)
