Actually Viable?[edit]

Is any of what is said here actually viable? It states that pickpocketing someone out of earshot of guards is a good idea, but I was under the impression that unless it's a totally isolated area (i.e. nowhere near a town/city) that guards are instantly alerted on failure. It also states that you shouldn't crouch until you're out of sight, but unlike earlier games no one seems to take interest when you're sneaking around in Skyrim. One thing I'm pretty sure is untrue is that you should choose what loot to take quickly, since time freezes in the pickpocketing menu. As for lockpicking, he talks about the pick trembling near the sweet spot, but unless I'm quite mistaken you just have to continually prod at it until you find a place where you can go through... completely the opposite of what he advises. Just to clarify I'm not trying to shoot this book down, I just want to know if any of this could actually help me in Skyrim. Bushwhacker 01:18, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
