Note from Anise[edit]

Doubtful that this references the Helgi this article is about since the note from Anise mentions a son. Helgi was a mere child when she died and had no children. I'm removing the mention of it in the article. Narzul 15:50, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

It's unclear that it's a "son"...the note just says "boy". If ghost Helgi was a teenager, then maybe. True, she doesn't look like a teenager, but then who does in this place? From the neck down, there's only two kinds of people: children and grownups. Dr. Memory 16:26, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
The race in the game data is "child". The ghost in the game looks like a child. Anise's Letter speaks of a "boy of yours" - I find it hard to imagine that this means anything else beside "your son", this child Helgi doesn't have a son. There are only finitely many names, and there will be name coincidences that are just that, coincidences. --Alfwyn 17:31, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
While I agree that the note is probably not referring to the ghost-child, I don't think "boy" refers to the person in the note's son. "renounce that boy of yours" it says. How do you renounce your child? It seems more likely if Anise intended for this person to abandon their child, she would have said "get rid of" or "give up for adoption" or "kill" or something like that. "Boy" could mean a man of some sort who is perceived to be childish; I would imagine it is speaking of a boyfriend or other sort of love interest, especially if that Helgi is a teenager. I think the cabin is too far away from Morthal to make the two the same Helgi, though. --Velyanthe 03:00, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
Yes, "boy" could simply be diminutive for man, so she is saying "give up your boyfriend/husband". Helgi could also be a pet name for Helga or Helgird or similar. — Unsigned comment by 124.148.254.133 (talk) at 05:48 on 1 September 2012‎

() I think this Letter refers to Helga, she is about the same age as Anise and when she says let go of that boy of yours I think she means Sven the bard. He is kinda like a mamas boy living with his mom. — Unsigned comment by 24.54.210.193 (talk) at 03:12 on 1 August 2013 (GMT)

Trivia[edit]

Before this turns into an edit war, lets sort through this and come to an agreement. The way I see it, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that there are two pieces of trivia that you, collectively, would like to add:

1. "If you stand near Helgi's Ghost for a while before talking to her, she will start humming a tune. The tune is "Stardust", a popular song from the 1930's."

2. "If you get into a fight near her burned house, Helgi may leave her place beside the door to spectate. No one will react to her presence."

If #1 is true for Helgi, and only Helgi, it should definitely be added to the page. However, if it is true for all little girls, then it should be brought up on the Skyrim:Easter Eggs talk page.

If #2 is true, which I imagine it is, then I'm still not entirely sure it should be on the page; it's more of a subjective thing, and I'll have to look up precedence for this sort of thing MetaCthulhu (talk) 01:23, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

Sorry. I did not see you took it here before I removed both. On the other hand, there is no need to add it again until the discussion is done and documentation is brought forth for which of the #1 alternatives is correct. —MortenOSlash (talk) 05:07, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
