What do we know?[edit]

-Morthal is the capitol city of Hjaalmarch. -Poorest of the nine holds. -It's home to Skyrim's largest swamp. Barael 14:02, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

Stonehill Bluff[edit]

I note that on the page for The Pale, Stonehill Bluff is mentioned as being within that Hold (as well as on the Hjaalmarch page). Any ruling as to which it is in? Dr. Memory 01:24, 28 January 2012 (UTC)

Dark Brotherhood Quests[edit]

Are the Dark Brotherhood quests listed accurate? Whispers in the Dark for one takes place entirely inside the sanctuary which is in Falkreath, and I'm not sure about the contract to kill Maluril. -- Haravikk (talk) 17:46, 21 November 2012 (GMT)

You're right about Whispers, entirely within Falkreath. Maluil is in Mzinchaleft, a Hjaalmarch location though. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 18:49, 21 November 2012 (GMT)

Missing tomb?[edit]

Why is the high gate ruins missing from this page — Unsigned comment by 88.104.127.56 (talk) at 16:21 on 27 June 2013

High Gate Ruins belong to the Pale. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 17:47, 27 June 2013 (GMT)

Pactur as Steward[edit]

He is only absent from Morthal due to a bug, one that's fixed by Hearthfire and USKP. Bugged steward =! no steward. Vicano (talk) 19:33, 6 August 2013 (GMT)

Is it fixed by Hearthfire? And I think the intention is that if you go to Morthal, you will be unable to find the steward, due to the bug. Otherwise we get people coming here asking where the steward is because they can't find him, even though we say he is there. This way, the link to the steward still exists, but it is clear that he cannot be found where he is intended to be. Jeancey (talk) 19:50, 6 August 2013 (GMT)
Yeah, he will go to Morthal once the Stormcloaks takeover, apparently Bethesda saw fit to fix it now that Pactur (and most other minor hold stewards) have some sort of purpose that requires them to be with their Jarl. Vicano (talk) 19:53, 6 August 2013 (GMT)
Didn't notice the talk page discussion earlier, but I've updated the page to include his name with a note that it's changed by Hearthfire (USKP fix is irrelevant here since it's a mod) with a link to the bug for details. Feel free to shorten the note, I couldn't think of a way to do so while including the important info (only with Hearthfire) and the link. — ABCface 22:17, 6 August 2013 (GMT)

How is it prounounced[edit]

Taking a hint from the works of Hrafnir, suffice to say Hjaalmarch is pronounced YaALmark.--Lmstearn (talk) 14:24, 5 February 2015 (GMT)
