Imperial Luck[edit]

Do we have any idea how exactly Imperial Luck affects things? I've yet to play an Imperial but I doubt it would be an enormous increase, right? I'd like to see how it works 2.29.92.86 13:56, 6 December 2011 (UTC)

Imperial Luck just makes loot containers (like burial urns) much more likely to contain a token amount of gold or make containers that already contain gold have more gold. The amount of gold Imp Luck adds typically is 20 or fewer gold coins. Not much but when most containers in a dungeon contain 10 gold it quickly adds up. 97.122.64.188 06:28, 4 January 2012 (UTC)

Random attack[edit]

I was just attacked on a road by a bandit-type figure who is labeled simply "Imperial." He was quite tough and was also carrying a piece of human flesh, among other more standard things. Just a variant on your normal everyday road bandit? --174.6.51.17 03:36, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

It's normal. I've fought random NPC Argonian, Nord, Imperial, Redguard, and even Dunmer.--Br3admax 03:38, 22 February 2012 (UTC)

Nasolabial folds[edit]

From a quick Google, I'm seeing people complaining online about having them in their low-to-mid-20's. Additionally, how old a person appears tends to be more opinion-based than anything. I do not think that the note about male Imperials all looking over 30 due to these folds should be kept. Thoughts? Vely►t►e 00:20, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

I don't think it's really relevant, as generally the characters (playable or not) look more or less the same age, regardless (excepting Elders and children of course). ABCface 00:31, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
Agreed. ThuumofReason 01:23, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
I agree. --XyzzyTalk 02:05, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
Agreed. I only re-added the note to the page because someone claimed it was "vandalism". Is the note irrelevant? Yes. Is it vandalism? Certainly not. Kitkat TalkContribE-mail 09:46, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

Bug or not[edit]

The bug on this page, is not a bug at all. All of the radius racial powers and spells do this. I'll remove it, but if it is a bug, return it.--Br3admax 00:47, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Imperial Luck bugged?[edit]

My character is NOT an Imperial, yet the global variable ImperialLuck (default=100) is set to 0 in my game, which means it's active (100% chance of additional gold in chests, etc.). It is true that only Imperials have the racial ability but it's really just graphic. It seems that the stage 5 of MQ102 (activated at the start of the quest) calls PerksQuest.SetStage(20) which then calls GlobalImperialLuck.SetValue(0). I might have overlooked or misunderstood something, so I'd appreciate if someone could look into this. --Roger (talk) 21:43, 5 February 2013 (GMT)

When starting as an Imperial, that global did change at exact the same point it did for the Nord and would for every player - when stepping out from the Helgen dungeon (stage 5 of MQ102). So it can hardly be avoided if playing a regular game. The displayed magic effect "Imperial Luck" (script effect with no script attached) doesn't really do something. --Alfwyn (talk) 19:22, 15 February 2013 (GMT)
It seems that the developers forgot a simple condition. Well, thanks for investigating this further! --Roger (talk) 20:23, 15 February 2013 (GMT)
