Some Animals Too Powerful

I tried this shout on a mammoth, but the mammoth was "too powerful for Kyne's Peace". Does anyone know if this changes as you level up, and/or as you add more words to the Kyne's Peace shout? — Unsigned comment by 209.6.44.17 (talk) at 20:06 on 6 December 2011 (GMT)

The more words you add to Kyne's Peace, the higher the level of the creatures you can use it on. Some animals/creatures will be too powerful no matter what, though.

On dragon wall translations

I believe the listed translation is incorrect. I believe it reads: "Noble Nord, remember these words of the hoar father: Wish not for peace for such is (the) wish of (the) weak and cowardly." Kevalan 01:53, 20 December 2011 (UTC)

again, That is still incorrect. The reason i put those implied words in is because it doesn't make sense without them. The words read literally : noble nord remember the word of the hoar father wish not for peace for such is wish of weak and cowardly. It is not saying the wish is weak, it is the wish of the weak and the cowardly, although they don't write like that so the translation would be what I originally wrote. Effect Radius?

The first shout has an effect radius of 20 points for 60 seconds in 75 foot. The second shout has a radius of 20 points for 120 seconds in 150 foot. The third shout has a radius of 20 points for 180 seconds in 250 foot. Does that help? Kitkat ^{•Talk•Contrib•E-mail} 22:22, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

Felsaad Terns

Now, I don't know if this is a glitch or what, but I did think it was of interest, so here goes. I was was wandering around Horker Island when I came across a dead tern. Wasn't too out of place, so took the feathers and carried on exploring. I then came across 2 other dead terns, which confused me. I hadn't shot any down, and apart from killing the big guy I'd only used Kyne's Peace. This got me thinking so I went to Raven Rock to test it. Spotted a flying tern, used the shout and sure enough it killed the tern. Thought I'd test a little further and tried a hawk but they seem unaffected. Could the affect on the tern have something to do with the "shock wave" that comes from this shout? Its strong enough to"kill" insects and knock nearby objects flying, so could it be killing the terns too? And should I add it to the page as a Note or a Bug? Rather amusing that the peaceful shout to calm animals should kill some of them... AyaHawkeye (talk) 20:42, 20 November 2013 (GMT)
