[edit] Bloodkin

This is of some note, as it also makes you "Bloodkin" with the orcs, allowing free access to the orc strongholds without having to complete The Forgemaster's Fingers quest, or be an orc. A more expensive, but potentially quicker method.

I removed the above, as testing on the 360 shows this to not be the case. I got the Daedra Heart, then took it to Moth, and while I received an armor piece, travel to Narzulbur and attempting to enter caused the gate guard to inform me that I was not Blood-Kin. Swk3000 14:22, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

it happened to me, he made me blood kin. I had gone to a orcs fortress and been told to get the fingers first though. He actually tells you he makes you blood kin too. (Eddie The Head 14:24, 22 December 2011 (UTC))

[edit] Investing

Is it necessary to find him a daedra heart before being able to invest in him (because I haven't yet and the option is not there), or is this a bug and if so has anyone else experienced it? -- 24.149.111.41 20:30, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

I got same problem, but I have already delivered a deadra heart. Is he even investiable? --Luke the Hero 18:35, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm not stalking you Luke. I just checked this, I had the quest active and he doesn't want my money, either before or after delivering. Using a very old save, he doesn't seem to like investment. Remove it? The Silencer 19:44, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
Yes, I can confirm I can't invest either with this naughty boy. Seems it looks to happen PRETTY often, information should probably be updated --82.49.38.231 17:17, 6 August 2013 (GMT)
I've never been able to invest with this guy. Updated. --Morrolan (talk) 15:31, 25 August 2013 (GMT)

() Now, after having gotten a note on how the investment works on Moth (that it is working somewhat buggy), should there maybe have been a footer note or similar on the investor information in the NPC info box referring to this note somehow? —MortenOSlash (talk) 20:11, 27 August 2013 (GMT)

I was thinking the same, but couldn't come up with anything that looked good using the goldinv method. We might want to go back to the original method of populating that box and see if we can get something that looks better. Robin Hood  (talk) 20:40, 27 August 2013 (GMT)
Tried out something here, but I'm not sure if it's really the best way to do it. Maybe adding the intnote to the summary box but having the referenced note still be at the bottom of the page in the Notes section? Or something different altogether, I don't really know. — ABCface 23:14, 27 August 2013 (GMT)
It looks better than anything I tried. About the only other thing I can think of is linking the "500", but while that looks fairly clean, I think it's counter-intuitive. Robin Hood  (talk) 19:46, 28 August 2013 (GMT)
Not bad, but it was a bit like halfway there, and not quite in style with the box. Could it have been added inside the box in any way, like its own cell for the footer, and maybe with smaller fonts? —MortenOSlash (talk) 19:51, 28 August 2013 (GMT)
I tried using small font on it in show preview, and it looked a little too small to me. As for putting it in the summary box, the only way I can think of to do that (though I admit, I'm useless with templates) is to come up with a "Notes" parameter and personally, I feel that doing so is asking for trouble. There aren't many instances in which we need to do something like this, and I'm afraid adding a parameter for it would be inviting editors to add info to the summary box which should just simply be in the article. That's just my opinion, though. Maybe someone better with tables could come up with a way to make it appear as if it's part of the table, but not? I dunno. — ABCface 20:33, 28 August 2013 (GMT)
Maybe with far too much effort, but I think it's better that it stands out from the box anyway, personally. I agree that adding a Notes field is inviting trouble. Robin Hood  (talk) 21:01, 28 August 2013 (GMT)

() So should we use the example I linked to here, then? — ABCface 21:15, 28 August 2013 (GMT)

Just as well. I seem to be the one with differing opinions, and since I know all too little about template syntax and wiki markup syntax there are more than valid and good reasons for me not to have strong opinions on these kind of topics. Let us go for something like the simple and functioning solution of AlphabetFace. —MortenOSlash (talk) 22:19, 28 August 2013 (GMT)
Done. — ABCface 02:30, 29 August 2013 (GMT)

[edit] Selling Silver Ore

The page for Silver says I can sell off my ore to Moth gro-Bagol in Markarth, yet every time I've visited him with plenty of ore in hand, the option doesn't even show up. Is this a bug or is someone trying to pull a fast one? -Lord Malus DCLXVI 21:20, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

The information isn't correct. The Mine Ore questgivers are NPCs in the "FavorJobsMineOreFaction" faction, and Moth gro-Bagol isn't in that faction. ABCface 03:35, 29 July 2012 (UTC)
Also, I just checked the Silver page, and I'm assuming you misread what's stated there. It says you can purchase silver ore from him, not sell it to him. ABCface 03:37, 29 July 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Unable to Marry.

My character is an Imperial archer who's good at smithing so I figured that Moth would be perfect for her. Since I wanted to try out marrying an Orc, I made my character in love with him. But, for some reason, despite doing that quest for him, there was no option to marry him. Are you sure that he's a potential candidate for marriage??? AThiefWithNordicBeauty (talk) 01:49, 2 November 2013 (GMT)

He is a member of the PotentialMarriageFaction, so he is supposed to be available for marriage once you fulfill the requirements. Check the Marriage page and make sure you have done everything necessary. There is a blurb in the article that says the radiant AI system may not let you marry some NPCs, so this may be what's happening to you. I really don't know what that statement means though, since that sounds like a bug. --Xyzzy Talk 14:49, 2 November 2013 (GMT)
