[edit] Immunities
immune to fire magic, immune to ice magic, immune to lightning magic, immune to (tested) shouts -- 141.44.198.144 23:50, 17 November 2011 (UTC)
- And an absolute **** to kill if you're pure mage... Especially as he heals — Unsigned comment by 86.42.250.232 (talk) at 18:45 on 26 November 2011

- If he gets stuck somewhere as your Dead Thrall, you can try to resurrect him, them leave the glitched area and type "00045F8E moveto player" without quotes. You'll have to kill him again but he'll be out of the glitched area. — Unsigned comment by TheVirginsSon (talk • contribs) at 05:34 on 5 December 2011
[edit] resurrecting
I want to make him a thrall but his body has long since been purged from the game. I resurrected him using the console, killed hi,. and make him a thrall but he doesnt seem to want to attack anything and just follows me around doing nothing. ive played around with his relationship rank but nothing seems to work.
[edit] As a thrall: not a perfect one
I've heard a lot about his abilities and thralled him. Yes, he uses his teleportation/healing spell and he is immune to magic. However, ther are several odds about him. First, he is moaning as a generic thrall. Second, he doesn't do much damage with his spells(ice and some lighting). So, he is actually more like mage-tank type follower and personally I prefer the spectral guy from the Barrow near Ivarstead (since no moaning and more DPS).--31.128.131.87 07:00, 28 February 2012 (UTC)
[edit] Where is the Immunity to magic coming from?
Can anyone tell me where we're getting the belief that he is immune to elemental magic from? I've been through all of his faction, NPC and ability lists on CSList and there isn't a single thing that is giving him any resistances at all except the usual Bosmer racial traits. Can anyone actually confirm this as it seems all the notes about it above are from Anons. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 08:21, 14 November 2012 (GMT)
- As a follow-up I've removed all mention of said immunities from the namespace until it can be confirmed via the Construction Kit. Lord Eydvar Talk|Contribs 08:26, 14 November 2012 (GMT)
- I'm not sure why you removed most of the text from the article, except the opening sentence. From reading your posts above, you are only referring to his said "immunities". I believe some of the info you removed are appropriate. I re-added them to the article and made some tweaks. And please be more careful and selective when removing content from articles, instead of simply removing chunks of text. Thanks! ~ Psylocke 12:48, 14 November 2012 (GMT)
- He has the "Greater Ward" spell, and a Perk crReduceDamage05 which seems to half all attack damage. Apart from that I guess it would need actual testing ingame. --Alfwyn (talk) 13:19, 14 November 2012 (GMT)
- Psylocke, the edit by Eydvar was correct. The death thrall note doesn’t belong on NPC pages (it's already here), nor does strategies on how to fight him. I was on IRC with Eydvar at the same time and encouraged the edit. Just mentioning this for good measure. --Krusty (talk) 14:07, 14 November 2012 (GMT)
- Hey Krusty, and thanks for mentioning it. Just a side note: I do not use IRC and am cut off from all conversations happening there; so basically, I could only refer to Eydvar's posts above which only says he removed all mention of said immunities, and hence my comment above. However, feel free to change the article again, and I'm sorry for causing trouble. ~ Psylocke 14:41, 14 November 2012 (GMT)
- No trouble whatsoever, Psy – and, until we can figure out what is going on with that weird resistance-to-spell thingy, I think we should keep the article in its current state. --Krusty (talk) 15:11, 14 November 2012 (GMT)

(←) Further testing showed that this doesn't seem to give him complete immunity from magic, just a very good protection. Casting Blizzard with 100 destruction, I was able to remove a bit of health (6/625). --Alfwyn (talk) 15:17, 3 December 2012 (GMT)
- No,I have tested that even you use Lightning Storm on him,a message will pop up:Orchendor is immune to Lighting Storm, and his health won't drop at all.--Lywzc (talk) 18:54, 5 May 2013 (GMT+08:00)
[edit] do I need the 'Spell' to enthrall?
I am playing with a character who is currently at level 14 (I've not leveled up, my guess is that this char is somewhere around level +50 aprox.) so there are still many things not available like some spell tomes and quests -- yet. The question is, i managed to find a Dead Thrall Scroll somewhere in Soltsheim, and did the Peryite quest. When I defeated Orchendor, i tried to enthrall him but didn't worked, saying that he is "too powerful for Dead Thrall". Is this because of my own current level? Or because I used a scroll and not the spell per se? M05c0 (talk) 22:42, 19 April 2013 (GMT)
