Finding Pavo[edit]

Any help finding him to tell him you've cleared his mine out of enemies? He doesn't seem to return to his house at the foot of the hill to the mine and I can't find him anywhere =/--Lyco499 00:12, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

i have found him in left hand mine he is in one of the houses over there i think its the miners one. — Unsigned comment by 93.172.14.133 (talk) at 21:32 on 13 December 2011
Pavo is in miners barracks at left hand mines — Unsigned comment by 66.87.7.163 (talk) at 22:43 on 10 February 2012 (UTC)
Pavo can be found in Kolskeggr Mine, which he owns, after you've cleared it and collected the bounty from him at Left Hand Mine. He only buys ore not ingots though. — Unsigned comment by 24.218.9.104 (talk) at 18:16 on 11 March 2012 (UTC)
Pavo will wait for you at Left Hand Mine until you tell him you have cleared Kolskeggr Mine. However, sometimes when they return to Kolskeggr Mine the Forsworn respawn and kill him. — Kimi the Elf (talk | contribs) 18:39, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

Cyrodiilic Ancestors?[edit]

Is it possible that Pavo is a descendant of the Attius family from Imperial City in Oblivion? I haven't heard anything about it or read anything from Bethesda about it but it can't be more than mere coincidence that his surname is Attius. Thelisaraptor (talk) 12:55, 3 November 2012 (GMT)

It may be that the surname was changed, but that would be speculation, however, the family in Oblivion is the Atius family (one T). Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 13:02, 3 November 2012 (GMT)

Buying ore[edit]

Will Pavo still buy ore once you have married him and had him move into your house? This seems like a way to prevent him from getting killed when the Forsworn respawn — Unsigned comment by 94.224.154.206 (talk) at 15:15 on 24 December 2012

It seems likely. He, Perth and Ainethach are the only marriageable NPCs that are targets for the Mine Ore quest, and I've never married any of them though. --Morrolan (talk) 13:42, 4 October 2013 (GMT)

Pavo locked inside miner's barracks?[edit]

Several times when I have done this quest, I have returned to Pavo during daylight hours only to find that the quest marker points to inside the Miner's Barracks, where the front door is locked. The lock is only a novice lock, but it's very difficult to pick the lock in broad daylight when everyone can see you. You will get a bounty if you are seen picking the lock. I have tried waiting for him to come out, but he never does, and the only times I've been able to finish the quest are when I've broken into the barracks. Has anyone else had this problem? Is Pavo supposed to have a schedule? If so, when is he supposed to come out of the barracks? FrozenWolf150 (talk) 04:01, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

Yes, I am having this problem right now. On a PC, I was able to use the console command 'unlock' with the barracks door as a selected target. 76.192.162.83 00:06, 16 February 2016 (UTC)
