Skyrim talk:Ranmir

Purpose?

Has anyone figured out the point of turning in the letter to Ranmir? I've done this a couple times on different character just because of circumstantial passing through of Hob's Fall and I've never bothered talking to Vex. But I haven't noticed anything substantial from completing this little fedex, aside from Ranmir disappearing. Does anything else happen with the little mini-plot after completing it? --Zhicai 22:16, 14 December 2011 (UTC)

Ranmir linked with Birna Bug?

I'm having a problem with getting Brina to complete the dialog to get the coral claw. She is in the store but she stops before saying the full line. I also noticed that Ranmir is nowhere to be found in the game. Is it a link? (174.96.157.16 14:22, 17 April 2012 (UTC))

I've answered my own question after testing a few things. If Ranmir is killed prior to getting the coral claw from Birna, there is a bug that will prevent her from giving the claw. Ranmir was killed by a Dragon attack in my game. (174.96.157.16 21:03, 17 April 2012 (UTC))

Thalmoricars?

If you assist the Empire in taking Winterhold, Ranmir makes a remark that goes something like this "Empire's in charge now, huh? Only a matter of time before we start getting bothered by them Thalmoricars...em, Justimors...
