Creatures?[edit]

These are NPCs, not creatures. I don't think listing them as undead is entirely correct. —Legoless 12:19, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

They are NPCs, and all of them have the "ActorTypeUndead" keyword, so the page has been changed to reflect this. ABCface 14:11, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
Vampires are NPCs and undead, so why not?--Br3admax 15:12, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
I think he meant that listing them as undead creatures was incorrect, since that's how the page was set up when he made that post. It's since been changed, and the 'undead NPC' information on the page is correct now. ABCface 15:25, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Named Souls[edit]

Should named souls such as Jiub and Morven Stroud (or even Arvak?) be listed here? --Roger (talk) 18:57, 26 December 2012 (GMT)

This page is for NPCs actually named "Soul" both in-game and in game data. It wouldn't hurt to have those others mentioned on the page in the notes section, but not listed as souls in general since this page is specifically about the many NPCs with the name "Soul". — ABCface 03:26, 27 December 2012 (GMT)

Novembers Doom Reference[edit]

Not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere in the wiki, but I just realized one of the phrases the souls say is a direct reference to part of the chorus of Dark World Burden by Novembers Doom:

I live in a dark world, where no light shines through

I carry this burden with every step I take

Thrust myself into a new days end

And focus on the hour glass, to help pass the time

I doubt this is a coincidence, seeing how they reference Katatonia, yet another band, in a book in the base game, but I just wanted to point this out. --Chill02 (talk) 01:30, 26 March 2014 (GMT)

Already described at Skyrim:Easter Eggs#Novembers_DoomDG. --Xyzzy Talk 02:14, 26 March 2014 (GMT)
Welp, serves me right for not checking. Good to know. --Chill02 (talk) 21:58, 26 March 2014 (GMT)
