Master spells[edit]

After completing the ritual spell quests and obtaining the master spells, I sold them for a quick boost of money, but now that I want them, they aren't there......Is it my game being screwy or do the master spells just not get restocked?01:21, 11 August 2013 (GMT) — Unsigned comment by 99.230.169.33 (talk)

Well, all vendor's vendor inventorys respawn after a while. ESPlayer666 (talk) 10:37, 1 April 2015 (GMT)ESPlayer666

Confirmed Tome[edit]

The Reanimate Corpse tome is available in Ironbind Barrow, carried by Gathrik - I'd add this to the chart if I could, but I'm not comfortable playing God 76.182.212.136 19:20, 27 August 2013 (GMT)

Thanks for the info! I've confirmed it's guaranteed to be found on Warlord Gathrik during Coming of Age, and added this to the page. — ABCface 03:04, 28 August 2013 (GMT)

Random Tome Discrepancy?[edit]

At level 26, I've found an Expert tome (Wall of Frost) in a boss chest at Northwind summit, apparently 9 levels earlier than should be available, per the list. . . 76.185.59.21 03:20, 2 April 2014 (GMT)

The list is for normal chests, boss chests always have overpowered/overleveled items. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 08:44, 8 April 2014 (GMT)

Spell Tomes with Guaranteed Locations[edit]

Do we have a list of these somewhere? I looked pretty thoroughly, I thought, for a list of such fixed tome drops such as the famed Bound Bow tome in Fort Amol, but I'm not finding anything. ? Crayolamanic (talk) 19:53, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

Worth it?[edit]

Is it worth mentioning that there is always a chance that a simple strike on your character (not a power attack) or another spell like flames could interrupt your character from casting a master spell? Just wondering before i just add it PortableGecko81 (talk) 13:44, 17 December 2019 (GMT)

If it's verifiable, and you're not using any mods when it happens, then the page should probably be updated, yes. If you're unsure, it's often useful to see if others have experienced the same thing, either by asking here on the talk page, in Discord, or just Googling to see if there are other people saying the same. If you get confirmation of the behaviour from any of those, then it should definitely be changed on the page. Robin Hood  (talk) 21:08, 17 December 2019 (GMT)

List of spells WITHOUT needing "creation"?[edit]

I'd like to quickly reference what spells are available in the base game without needing any of the creation downloads, as I play on the Switch and the list is clogged with irrelevant info. — Unsigned comment by 101.98.119.214 (talk) at 07:59 on 30 May 2020

I sympathize with your frustration.
A. If the original table had:
  • a separate Source field with entries: SK, CC, DB, etc. then you could have sorted by that.
  • a separate Spell ID field then a sort (click the up-down arrow) would have worked there with FExxxxx showing a CC.
  • a separate Tome ID field then it too could have been sorted.
  • its data available for edit then that text could have been pasted into another program (e.g. Excel) and sorted. Or a new field could have been belatedly inserted into the table.
B. But you can still copy the HTML page and paste the text data. Assuming that the "base game" you refer to does not include Dawnguard and Dragonborn, here is a list I produced using Excel.

Second Spell Tome[edit]

I believe that the Spell Tome: Bound Sword is available in Treva's Watch on a wooden table. It is mentioned on the page for Treva's Watch, although I have not confirmed this for myself in-game. Should I add this to the table as a source?

I'll check it out and add it if I can find it there consistantly. ParadoxPraxis (talk) 02:11, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
It is done. ParadoxPraxis (talk) 02:52, 5 June 2020 (UTC)
